I made two layouts last week with a Sassafras kit from the collection Indie Girl, I had left overs from Scraptastic Event 2010, I had made one layout at the event with this kit, but I had enough to make a couple more.
La semana pasada hice dos páginas con un kit de Sassafras de la colección Indie Girl, que me sobró en Scraptastic Event 2010, había hecho una página en el evento con este kit, pero quedaba suficiente para hacer un par más.
The first one is called “So Happy”. I used some pictures I had taken of my daughter some time ago, and I’ve been saving them for a special layout. I love how happy she looks in those photographs. I kind of like the idea of having two similar pictures together.
El primero se llama "So Happy". Utilicé unas fotos que le había tomado a mi hija hace algún tiempo, y las he estado guardando para una página especial. Me encanta lo feliz que se ve en las fotografías. Me gusta la idea de incluir dos imágenes similares.
The other layout was a present for a very close friend of ours; I had asked her husband for a picture and made a layout about them, since the photo was black and white it was very easy to match with everything in the kit, and I just put their initials as the title, D & J. I put it in a frame and gave it to her as a birthday present. I loved seeing her face when she got it!
El otro diseño fue un regalo para una amiga muy cercana de nosotros, le había pedido a su esposo una foto, y le hice una página acerca de ellos, como la foto es en blanco y negro fue muy fácil combinarla con todo en el kit, utilicé sus iniciales como título, D. & J. Lo puse en un marco y se lo di como regalo de cumpleaños. Me encantó ver su cara cuando lo vio!
I’m very pleased with these layouts, and finally got to use most of the kit.
Estoy muy contenta con estas páginas, y finalmente pude utilizar el resto de este lindo kit.
Los dos trabajos quedaron finisimos! :)
