Summer Card Camp 2011: week 2

We are in week 2 at Summer Card Camp.  Here is the color combo the proposed for this opportunity.

Ya estamos en la semana 2 del Summer Card Camp. Este es el combo de colores que nos propusieron esta vez.

 Looking through my stash I found this gorgeous patterned paper that had some of the colors from the combo (RoseMoka: appel de la nature). Since I like it so much I didn’t want to cover a lot of it, so I only added a bit of orange cardstock to stamp the sentiment.

Revisando mis cositas encontré este hermoso papel decorado que tenía algunos de los colores del combo (RoseMoka: appel de la nature). Como me gustaba mucho el papel no quise tapar mucho, así que solamente  usé cartulina naranja para sellar el mensaje de la tarjeta. 

 I wanted to add a bit of texture, but I needed to keep it subtle as the card was a bit busy already, so I machine stitched around the front of the card with white thread, with a bit of a messy style.

Quería agregarle un poco de textura, pero tenía que ser bastante delicado porque ya la tarjeta estaba un poco cargada, entonces le cosí a máquina un borde con hilo blanco, con un estilo un poco desordenado.

 Later I realized I was missing a color so I added the flowers with a bit of Stickles on the center.

Luego me di cuenta que me faltaba un color así que le puse las flores con un poco de Stickles en el centro.

I also doodled a bit around the card, on the leaves and sentiment, using Kristina’s favorite: stitching lines.   

También garabatee en varios sitios de la tarjeta, en las hojas y mensaje, utilizando la idea favorita de Kristina: líneas de pespunteado.
