El fin de semana pasado tuve el placer de participar en un evento de scrapbooking en Barcelona. Somos Scrap. Fue un evento de 3 días que incluía talleres y demostraciones. Estaba muy emocionada de desconectarme de la rutina y ponerme a crear.
The adventure started by taking the train from Madrid to Barcelona, it was a smooth trip, I got to sleep a bit and catch up with emails. Once I got there I went straight to the hotel to leave my stuff and immediately walk to the event, it was a 5 minutes walk. I was so excited!
La aventura comenzó tomando el tren desde Madrid hasta Barcelona, fue un viaje muy bueno, pude dormir un poco y ponerme al día con emails. Una vez que llegué fui al hotel a dejar mis cosas e inmediatamente caminé hasta el evento, una caminata de solo 5 minutos. ¡Qué emoción!
When I got there I received my welcome bag, it was loaded with wonderful goodies, yeih!! I walked around, met some people, then got ready for my first workshop. Amy Tangerine! I´m so happy to have met her, she´s so sweet and talented. We made a double LO and some extra pocket pages.
Cuando llegué me entregaron mi bolsa de bienvenida llena de cositas espectaculares, yeih!! Caminé por allí viendo las cosas que había, conocí a algunas personas y me preparé para mi primer taller. ¡Amy Tangerine! Estoy tan feliz de haberla conocido, es muy dulce y talentosa. Hicimos un LO doble y una páginas tipo bolsillos (tipo project life)
On Saturday my day started early. I took a workshop with Shimelle. I really liked her products and her style, plus she´s the sweetest person on earth. We made an album, pocket style.
El sábado mi día comenzó muy temprano. Tomé un taller con Shimelle. Me encantaron sus productos y su estilo, además que es la mujer mas dulce del mundo. Hicimos un album, tipo bolsillos (estilo project life)
After Shimelle´s class I did a bit of shopping, trying to control myself haha! And I also enjoyed some of the demos in the main stage. In the evening we got to enjoy some scrap and mojitos, it was fun and funny!
Luego de la clase con Shimlle hice algunas compras, tratando de controlarle jaja! También vi algunas demostraciones en el escenario principal. Por la noche disfrutamos de scrap y mojitos, ¡fue divertido y gracioso!
On the last day I took two classes. The first workshop was with Amy Tangerine again. I liked her so much that I was happy I had signed up for two of her classes. This time we made a mini album.
En el último día tomé dos clases. El primer taller fue con Amy Tangerine nuevamente. Ella me gustó tanto que estaba feliz de haberme apuntado a dos de sus clases. Esta vez hicimos un mini álbum.
Amy was so sweet that she wrote/painted something for each one of the participants, she rocks!
Amy fue tan dulce que nos escribió/pintó algo a cada participante de su clase, ¡es lo máximo!
Mi último taller fue hacer un álbum con Dear Lizzy. ¡Qué talento tiene! Me gustan muchos de sus productos. Estaba ya un poco cansada a estas alturas pero igual disfruté su clase.
I had a blast! I´m happy to have participated in a scrapbooking event as I´ve been doing other crafts postponing scrapbooking which is what I really love and enjoy. I like cardmaking and art journaling but what I really love and got me into the world of crafting is scrapbooking.
¡Me divertí muchísimo! Estoy feliz de haber participado en un evento de scrapbooking porque he estado haciendo otras manualidades y posponiendo el scrap que es lo que realmente disfruto y me apasiona. Me gusta hacer tarjetas y art journaling pero lo que realmente me fascina y me hizo entrar a este mundo de manualidades fue el scrapbooking.
I´ll be posting here the results of my workshops at Somos Scrap, I´m trying to finish them as soon as I can so I don´t forget the ideas or what I was planning to do.
Subiré por aquí los resultados de los projectos que hice en Somos Scrap, estoy intentando terminarlos pronto para que no se me olviden las ideas y los que planeaba hacer con cada uno.
