Simon Says Stamp Card Kit (Aug 2012)

During Christmas I bought a few things over Simon Says Stamp and decided to get an old card kit to try them out. I got the August 2012 car kit. I really like the kit and the ideas given by the team.
Here are some of the cards I made with the kit.
En Navidad me compré alunas cosas en Simon Says Stamp y decidí probar uno de sus kits de tarjetas viejos. Me compré el kit the Agosto de 2012. Me gustó mucho el kit y las ideas que proponen.
Aqui muestro algunas de las tarjetas que he hecho con el kit.

 I made these two cards copying from the ideas that came in the box.
Hice estas dos tarjetas copiando una de las ideas que venían en la caja.

 I kind of worked in pairs, I made two cards at a time, to save time and materials.
Trabajé por pares de tarjetas para ahorrar  tiempo y materiales.

 This was a "solo" car. I loved that flower center and wanted to use that patterned paper as it was. So I created a simple one.
Esta es una que hice sin pareja. Me gustó mucho esa flor para poner de centro y quería usar ese papel decorado tal cual como venía. Así que cree esta tarjeta sencilla.

 Another one...not my favorite, but I was experimenting with those bright colors flowers.
Y otra más... no es my favorita, pero quería experimentar con esas flores de colores tan fuertes.

 And this last one is the one I made for my daughter's birthday. She loved it!
Y esta última es la que hice para el cumpleaños de mi hija. Le encantó!

I stil have some material left in the box, maybe I can make a few more cards.
I also got another kit but I haven't played with it yet. I'll make a few cards and post them soon.
Todavía me quedan algunos materiales en la caja, quizás pueda hacer unas tarjetas más.
También compré otro kit pero no he podido jugar con él. Me pondré a hacer unas tarjetas y las subo luego.

Summer Card Camp 2011: week 3

 I can't believe we are already on week 3...well, here is what I created, I have to admit I had a hard time with this color combo, but I guess this is all about, a challenge....isn't it?
No puedo creer que ya estamos en la semana 3...bueno, aquí está mi creación, y tengo que reconocer que me costó mucho trabajar con este combo de colores, pero creo que de esto se trata, un reto...verdad?

 The flower is a clear stamp from Inkadinkado, the background is a Hero Arts clear stamp and the sentiment from the Stamps of Life.

ATCs Donna Downey Style

There are so many presents I want to give during Christmas that I decided to try making some of them myself. Here I show you an altered alarm clock. I bought a couple of clocks at IKEA and altered them with a little white embossing, clear stamps, ribbon, buttons, thread, and stickles. It took me less than half an hour to make both, and they look so cute!

Hay tantos regalos que quiero dar en Navidad que decidí intentar hacer algunos de ellos yo misma. Aquí les muestro un reloj con alarma decorado. Compré un par de relojes en IKEA y los “alteré” con un poco embossing blanco, sellos “clear”, cinta, botones, hilo, y Stickles. Me tomó menos de media hora para hacer ambos, y se ven tan lindos!

Be very Happy

This is a beautiful layout made on fabric, and most of the embellishments are also made with fabrics. It’s gorgeous, you have to see it and touch it. I made with one of Donna Downey’s kits; it’s called Happiness page fabric kit. I bought it to see something coming from her, I really like her work and I wanted to have a feeling of working with her because I’ll be taking one of her classes in October. I can’t wait.

I tried to follow all of her instructions to get the same result. When I show it to people they just love it….so do I!
