Scraptastic 2010: You make me smile

 When I signed up for the Scraptastic Event I wanted to try different things, I wanted to paint and try various techniques, that’s why I selected to 2 canvas painting projects: “Wonderland” (which I showed before) and “You make me smile”.


“You make me smile” was about using Claudine Hellmuth’s Studio Line paints in different ways to make a pretty background, mixing colors, dripping water adding texture… We also finished painting the beautiful angel.

This workshop was taught by Tanya Watts, she’s great fun. She was in big pain because of a recent surgery, so I really appreciate her being there and sharing her ideas with us. We got to work very relaxed and at our own pace. It’s great to see how we all started with a blank canvas and we got to some pretty impressive results!

My daughter is very excited about hanging it on her bedroom wall.
